There's been some Tron2 buzz of late. Here's a bootlegged sneak peek at the new movie. Jeff Bridges returns, and apparently has recently been digitized so this 1987 self can return as well.

In the following clips, Australian photographer Keith Loutit used a tilt-shift camera lens to take pictures of people and objects and make them appear like miniature figurines. He then assembled the shots to build some pretty fantasic-looking time-lapse videos. Watch them right after the jump....… Continue

Pinball is one of those games with a lot of range. You have stellar highs and crushing lows.
We have a Startrek pinball machine at the office that we play on breaks, no really only on breaks.
At 1st it was hard to get 100k on the scoreboard. Yet some guy walked in off the street, and blasted our scores with 960k!
From that point on I knew it could be done. And it gave me a tool to work against that defeatist voice in my head.
There is a Buddhist term "Shempa", for which i probably experience… Continue

Researchers insist they can tell someone's politlcal affiliation by looking at the condition of their offices and bedrooms. Messy? You're a lefty. A neatnik? Welcome to the Right.
According to a controversial new study, set to be published in The Journal of Political Psychology, the… Continue
So I'm on my way to work driving down highway 62 toward White City. It's two lanes each way plus a center lane for people turning and what not and both sides are lined with businesses etc etc. So now that you have the setting this is what occurred:
Some crazy woman (I am not even exaggerating here, imagine like a crazy old cat lady with really fluffy frizzy red hair wearing pajamas that only leaves the house for more kitty food, that kind of crazy) pulls out from the gas station on the opposite… Continue
If you happen to have a spare $60,000 lying around and you don’t know what to do with it (common problem, happens to us all), then here’s an idea on what to spend it on - a lifesize lego replica of yourself.
Imagine the reactions of friends and family as they come round to your place and standing in the hallway is your lego replica!...… Continue
Blessing of the Animals
I certainly am not the church going sort, but I love to hear of stories where people have done something when it comes to rescuing animals. Since, I have an Italian Greyhound dog and know how fragile they are this really meant a lot that this little one was saved. And not just in the Jesus way:) Continue

There is a hilarious video to this blog o' mine:) Don't know if anyone caught that or not.
Jennifer and Jim kept getting huge water bills. They knew beyond a doubt that the bills weren't representative of their actual usage, and no matter how they tried to conserve, the high bills continued.
Although they could see nothing wrong, they had everything checked for leaks or problems: first the water meter, then outdoor pipes, indoor pipes, underground pipes, faucets, toilets, washer, ice maker, et… Continue
I wonder at times, why it is that we rarely take the time to take care of what really matters most in life. Everyday more than 3,000 Americans die of cancer, strokes, car accidents, falls, drowning, homicide, and accidental shootings. In fact, by the time you finish reading this, five people will have died. Many of these Americans pass on before “their time.” Often, we wait until it’s too late to tell those close to us how much we care. I know from experience.
One of the main reasons I moved to… Continue

A great deal of men and women, at the end of their lives, have looked backed and wished they had lived differently. There are a great deal of writings and songs to this effect. So, in that manner of thinking, here are mine:
I wish I would failed more. That may seem odd, but I think sometimes we are afraid so much to fail, that we don’t even try, and that perhaps is the greatest failure of all- not trying. Did you know that Formula 409 (that’s a cleaner for all you men who don’t clean) got it’s… Continue
